Reorganization!

The Board of Directors of the Waco Performing Arts Alliance voted yesterday to multiply itself to form separate Boards for the Waco Performing Arts Company and the Waco Lyric Opera. The Waco Tribune Herald has a story about it here. This is a move that we hope will allow for greater focus on the many endeavors each organization is pursuing right now. There's just so many great things being done! The details of this new arrangement are still being hammered out, but what it should mean for the people of Waco is more performances and better performances soon. John Michael Talbot

John Michael Talbot was here in concert this past Wednesday. He was incredible. We were so blessed to have such a fine musician in our hall. Many of you expressed to me how enjoyable the experience was. This is something we hope to be able to offer with regularity in the future. Our theatre here is just too great a tresure to sit quiet so often. I will do all that I can to continue to bring in world class musicians and performers for the City of Waco to enjoy. Thanks again, JMT and crew, and thank you Waco for your continued support of the Hippodrome!
