Shaun Groves Postponed

Alas... Rita. We have had to reschedule the Shaun Groves concert that was supposed to be tonight. Due to travel difficulties with Shaun and the fact that most of my college audience has already had to leave town, we decided to move the event so that we could keep everyone safe and give the best event possible. Anyone who already purchased tickets will of course have them honored at the reschedule. Shaun Groves in Concert will now be at 7:00pm on Friday, November 4th. We hope everyone can make it! Tickets will go on sale in October. Call the box office at 254-752-9797. And don't forget about Bebo Norman coming up on October 16th and John Michael Talbot on November 9th. Thanks all! - s

Hippos Relieved!

Hippo Relief was last night, and it was a great! Glen Beals, the Muddcatts, Adeline, Dick Gimble, and Ethan Durelle rocked the house! The Hippos, our new comedy troupe, had the audience rolling. We took up a collection for the Red Cross as well. The audience wasn't as large as we hoped or expected, but those who came saw a great show. Hopefully next time we'll have a bigger house to play to! Thanks for all your support, Waco. -- s

Hippo Relief

Hey everybody! I know this is last second, but you don't plan for a hurricaine benefit in any way other than last second. We are hosting a benefit event for the hurricaine victims on Monday September 12th at 7:00pm. It is going to feature live comedy from our new comedy troupe, the Hippos, and live music from Glen Beals, Dick Gimble, the Muddcatts, Adeline, and Ethan Durelle. We will also have representatives from a few area churches to talk about their response to the crisis and what they have done for the evacuees here in Waco. The Mayor ProTem, Robin McDurham, will give a welcome. We will be taking up donations for the American Red Cross. 100% of the donations will go straight to the Red Cross. It will cost a $5 minimum donation to get in. Come early, because we expect to have to turn people away because we'll be so full. I would love to raise $10,000 to give. Please help get the word out! Call the box office with questions at 254-752-9797. The city has done so much to help us stay open, this is the least we can do to try to give back to those in need. -- s
